We have had a wonderful, relaxing and invigorating holiday which has recharged our batteries. This has been the most peaceful and beautiful area with its hidden treasures, compared with some of the hunny pots we have visited elsewhere in France. Animal highlights - crested tits, nuthatches, black wood pecker and a family of deer in the garden.

“We’ve had a wonderful time here again. Not quite so hot this year so we’ve been able to see and do more - mostly touring the Bastide towns, visiting the markets and lunching in their friendly cafes. We sat out every night watching the wildlife and the stars. The highlight has been getting up early to watch the view and the birds on the feeders. One evening we were joined at the table by a large praying mantis and once the doe and her fawn grazed the lawn. Lovely!”

I am just writing to let you know that we had a fabulous time at Villa Marcelle. We really loved the house, the aspect (view of course) the wildlife and birds, in the garden and we loved exploring by bike. We treated ourselves to a Saturday lunch at the Logis and it was extraordinary - I think we counted 9 courses in all! We also had our last meal Chez Julien which was also lovely. All in all I think you can tell we loved the area
