This villa was excellent. Patrick and his wife are wonderful people and seem to take real pleasure in knowing that you have enjoyed your time there. Although it is on a residential street, it is quieter than some we have stayed in that are 'in the middle of nowhere '. The location is good, just a couple of minutes walk (next to a road) to a reasonable supermarket and an excellent butchers/bakers. The pool is in a lovely position in the huge garden! The area around the pool have some kind of shade,whatever the time of day. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and coupled with the fact that the price is so reasonable, I would not hesitate to go back. Family G, South France Villas clients July

We thoroughly enjolyed our stay it was ideal for the grandchildren. The area is lovely and quiet, with the people of Magalas being extremely friendly. The butcher is highly recommended, with the best pork we've ever had. The baker was superb and provided an excellent "gateau anniversaire" for a family birthday - just about all you could want in the village or nearby, with the delights of Pezenas a short drive and larger stores in Beziers if needed. Canoeing on the river was good fun, the beach at Valras highly recommended and extremely safe for small children. We enjoyed an excellent holiday in one of our favourite areas and we'll be going again when we can.

We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous villa. The villa was spotless, roomy and pretty cool, even without using the air conditioning. The set-up around the pool was very inviting with the right contrast of sun and shade. It’s a bit of a steep walk down to the pool but my elderly in-laws made it without any trouble!The owner is very friendly and welcoming. When the kettle broke, he was at our door the next day with a new one!The location was as described, a 15 minute walk into the village and about 30min drive to the beach and 20min to Beziers.Overall, if you want a villa holiday in this region, this villa should be on your option list. Villa was lovely, although we have stayed here before so knew what to expect. The location for us is fine, but can be a very short drive to bars or restaurants. You can however easily walk to a baker/butcher/supermarket.For us though, everything about is perfect and the owner seems like a really decent guy.Would definitely stay here again and hope to do so.
