This old farmhouse restored and transformed into a holiday home , has retained all the charm of the traditional bories of Périgord . The interior design combines traditional materials and high-comfort equipment. The kitchen offers a very beautiful worktop and a magnificent stone sink . The living room has old details, family furniture, ancestral paintings, an imposing fireplace  near which it is pleasant to taste an old Armagnac. 

Very pretty paving in all the rooms. The corridor serves a first double bedroom with very original details such as magnificent stone bedside tables. The owners thought of arranging storage on the landing so as not to clutter the rooms. Finally, there is also a third double bedroom with period engravings and pretty Moroccan-inspired lamps with wrought iron feet.

After taking the magnificent avenue of walnut trees and then maple trees, from the entrance to the Demeures des Châteaux du Périgord Noir, you discover a magnificent panorama. The house, very quiet , surrounded by cornfields, is located at the end of a long avenue leading to a very beautiful Directoire-style family castle and its six-hectare park, both listed as historical monuments that make the Périgord so rich. 

This property is ideal for couples  with children as the garden is enclosed by stone walls. A passage in the old stable gives access to the superb private swimming pool of dream dimensions, 15x6.5m, with a protected view of the Dordogne valley . The pool is surrounded by lemon and orange trees in very pretty terracotta pots. Sun loungers available. 

To vary the pleasures and for those who prefer swimming in the river , a beach on the banks of the Dordogne is a short walk away.

During your stay, you can have your lunches or dinners in the garden or in the summer living-dining room sheltered by an awning and delightfully furnished. A barbecue is at your disposal to make your grills.
