There is a nice lakeside beach at just 5 minutes, offering swimming, pedalos, canoes and activities for the children. The Mervent forest and the river Vendee are nearby, offering plenty of holiday activities. Well placed for visiting the Green Venice area, or the history theme park of Le Puy du Fou, as well as day trips to the Vendee coast.
