A beautiful, private ,spacious and comfortable house. The photos to not do it justice. Vast , exciting garden. Amazing views. Fantastic large swimming Pool and sun lounging area. Shaded bbq area was very welcome.

Just a 10 min walk to wonderful medieval village/ small town with everything you need. The lady who helps with the house spoke fantastic English and was charming, allowing us our privacy but fully available for questions re the house. Almost don't want to write this so it doesn't get overbooked!!

We had a great time

The house and gardens are lovely and Bargemon is a perfect village for this type of holiday so we really didn't feel the need to venture much further (a choice of good restaurants, a butcher, two bakers and a small supermarket)

We have been renting houses in France for 20 years. This was the best we have stayed at. It had absolutely everything and all the instructions were easy to follow.

The tennis was also a big success. The court below the village is in great condition and is easy to book.

A relaxing time was had by all.

This beautiful old mill is a wonderful house to stay in.

My family and I have been travelling and staying in France for the last 25 years and have never stayed somewhere which was as lovely as the Mill. It is quirky, exceptionally comfortable and a pure joy just to be there.

The pool is great. We have usually stayed in houses which have really cold pools but this one was just so warm that we spent most of the days just lounging around and dipping in and out.

The village is lovely and we didn't even need to go out looking for a large supermarket. The one in the village is really well stocked and also has a small delicatessen counter selling wonderful things to eat. The butcher also sells individual portions of lasagna and moussaka as well as roasted chickens. It was also a treat being able to walk into the village to buy bread and croissants in the morning.

Thank you Catherine for allowing us to stay in your wonderful house and we will be back. A tremendous holiday!

Unfortunately we only had one week at this wonderful house. You can see the old olive mill workings and how beautifully it has been renovated into a really unique house.

It is quite, secluded but only around a 15 minute walk into the village of Bargemon - lovely coffees in the square and a meal at La Pesculana (recommended by Catherine) which was eaten outside - truly memorable!

The Mill was everything and more that we could have asked for. The pool was beautiful and warm.

Will come back as soon as possible.

A truly beautiful property in a stunning setting. Completely secluded, but only a short walk into what must be one of the loveliest villages in this part of France.

The Mill has loads of space inside and is very tastefully decorated, with an almost endless choice of places to sit outside and enjoy the tranquillity. The heated pool is a real bonus for the cooler days.

There are a few places in the garden where very young children would need supervision, but ours loved all the places to explore, as well as the trampoline and (obviously!) the pool.

Bargemon has several small but delightful restaurants, each with their own character, and a surprisingly well stocked supermarket, a good butcher and two bakeries. The walk into the village is quite steeply uphill, but at least it is downhill on the way back!

A perfect place to get away from it all, without being too far from civilisation

We have just had a wonderful week at the Old Olive Mill. We were 2 families, all adults, 7 in total. We all loved the house, the garden, the pool & the proximity of the house to the town. The house was in one of the most peaceful locations we have stayed in, & the bedrooms & bathrooms were comfortable & well appointed. The views are second to none. The garden was great to explore & the new electric fence kept the wild boar at bay at night!! Two outings are a must. One is to Tourtour, only about 40 mins drive with amazing views & one of the prettiest villages in France. Also a day excursion to St Tropez leaving the car at St Maxine & taking the ferry across the bay. For anyone interested in boats & 'people watching' it is a must!! The old town has really good reasonable restaurants too. Only draw back of a late holiday in Bargemon is that most of the restaurants shut down for the winter. However the weather made up for that & we ate virtually all our meals in the garden. Thank you Catherine for letting us stay in your beautiful home.

We had a brilliant week staying at the old Olive Mill. It started well when the guy showing us the property told us in perfect English that he used to come to the house as a child when it was still totally derelict - and that he and his friend used to run around the giant mill wheel like hampsters in a cage. Everything about our stay was perfect - the house has been meticulously restored and it's in an idyliic spot - close enough to the village to walk in every morning for croissants and bread, but totally secluded, with virtually no manmade noise - just the burble of the stream and the occasional burst of birdsong. Our four kids lived in the pool, but we also dragged them away to walk around the beautful little village of Bergamon, to take pedalos up the amazing Verdon Gorge and to snorkel in the Med (it's a pretty crowded coastline though, and the jellyfish were rife, so we only went once). All in all we had a wonderful restful stay and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

We spent 2 lovely weeks at the Mill, situated just a short 5 - 10 min walk to the centre of Bargemon and had a great time. Our booking for the Mill was professionally handled and efficient, as was the agent who greeted us on our arrival.

The Mill has loads of character and is furnished to a very high standard (the listing description is accurate). Bathrooms and en-suites are a good spec and the roll-topped baths add an extra touch of luxury. The Mill was clean and very well maintained.

Outdoors, the high standards were maintained. The Mill had a number of places to eat outside and was well equipped with garden and pool furniture. The pool is very nicely positioned and the pool heating was excellent (it never dropped below 28 C).

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mill.
