Les Laurielles is a 2-bedroom 'tuffeau' stone gîte set in the vineyards of the Loire Valley.
Renovated in a typical, authentic style, it offers all the modern comforts you'd expect, while retaining many original features.
Halfway between Saumur and Doué-La-Fontaine, you'll enjoy visiting the Bioparc, the Cadre Noir de Saumur (famous equestrian center), the troglodytes and, of course, tasting the various local wines and visiting the surrounding châteaux.
You can also rent canoes, go horse-riding or cycling (we lend bikes), or if you prefer to relax, you can enjoy a game of pétanque or ping-pong by the pool.
For a change, just an hour and a half's drive will take you to the Atlantic coast for a swim, a stroll or dinner.
It's also a good opportunity to discover the many castles, gardens and historic towns nearby. Every year on July 14th, don't forget the Doué-La-Fontaine International Flower Show.
And if you ever need a little more space, we can also provide 2 guest rooms.

The cottage is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, espresso, etc. It has TV and radio and portable CD player. Free wi-fi connection to the internet is also available.
There are 2 bedrooms (reversible air conditioning), 1 with double beds and the 2nd bedroom with 1 king size bed. A cot is available on demand. There is a shower room with toilet, shower and bath upstairs and a second separate toilet downstairs. For your comfort, the gite also has a pellet stove.
The adjoined private terrace has a seating area, a table with 6 chairs and a plancha grill.
Local Attractions
In the shared garden, you can play badmington, tennis-table, pétanque, football, use the swing,relax in the hamoc, or have swim in the shared pool (fully enclose). But if you prefere you stay in your private terrace for a drink, relax in your lounge area or prepare the plancha.

Booking Notes:
Cleaning is charged as a compulsory extra (€80), linen and towels are included. A 30% deposit will be required to confirm your booking with the balance being payable at your arrival.
Prices:
Nightly rate €100 low season and €130 high season. Minimum stay is 2 nights low season, 7 nights high season. For long stay, please contact us.
Tourist tax (not included) is 1.20€ per night and per adult.
Extra charge of €20 for use of sauna.
