Traditional Chalet in Les Carroz, Haute-Savoie - Chalet Soleil Riant Reviews

We had a great stay: The cottage is perfect. It has all the necessary comforts we needed nothing more. The large dining room allows for great family meals. The rooms are large and comfortable. The shuttle is 2 min walk and takes us to the edge of the slopes in 15 min. There is space for children to play in front of the chalet. Really recommend this accommodation is perfect for groups or families: we leave without hesitation next year! David

We cannot fault this chalet, a beautiful traditional design on the outside and all wood interior -perfect for our group of ten. You enter the property via the garage with access to the boot room and then up one flight of stairs to a spacious and very comfortable living and dining area with kitchen. Up one more flight of stairs to 4 of the bedrooms. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived and a nice touch was that the linen was delivered to the chalet. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the bus stop and a short ride to the town centre and on to the gondola. The swimming pool and spa is a short walk away and was well used! Julia was an excellent host both in the booking process and during our stay. Our deposit was promptly returned which we appreciated. We hope to stay again and we will certainly recommend to friends.

A super chalet for our 2 families staying together over Christmas. The whole booking process with Julia was fantastic to deal with,very efficient and had lots of ideas and tips regarding our stay. The chalet was very clean and tidy upon arrival ,well appointed,and well placed for all amenities. We really love Les Carroz and have been going there for the last 8 years, would we stay there again ? Absolutely, thank you.

I have visited les Carroz on many occasions but it was our first time at Chalet Soleil Riant. The chalet is very equipped and extremely spacious. I have never stayed in such a spacious chalet and I would recommend it. The drying room was amazing and the space allowed all the kit to be put out in the evening so no last minute panics in the morning. The snow was not great so we dorve up to Flaine and skied all morning but then stopped for a late lunch and a few drinks in the sun. It was a wonderful holiday.Many thanks

We were two families sharing Soleil Riant for a week in August. It was our first time in the mountains in the summer and we will definitely return! A few good things to do with kids in the immediate area: a good outdoor public pool, a couple of easy walking trails and a great tree top adventure centre, all within a 5 minute walk. Further afield: hiking, canyoning, mountain biking. Les Carroz is small and compact with several cafés, restaurants. There are plenty of 'what to do' brochures in the chalet. Lovely and very well maintained chalet: great for our two families. Enjoy!
