Such a warm welcome from Brian and Allie, they are exceptional hosts. They made us feel at home in their beautifully restored riverside home. The bedroom had such lovely style and the bed so so comfortable. Really a beautiful place to stay.

Ali and Brian were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was lovely, the rooms were cosy with really comfortable beds. The garden area was perfect on the river front with kayaks available for guests to use as they please. Also two very cute doggies running around the place that were great fun and added to our fantastic stay :)

This property and the owners are lovely. The room we stayed in was huge. The bed was big and comfortable, check in was easy, wifi worked really well and breakfast was simple but delicious. We would definitely stay again and we’re sad we’d only booked one night.

Our third visit to this riverside retreat. Very friendly hosts who were again extremely accommodating throughout our stay. Spacious bedroom with large comfortable bed and great shower room. Delicious ample breakfast to meet anyone’s needs. Outside space available to enjoy the peaceful setting and beautiful views of the River Charente.

We loved the ambience of the property and the hospitality of the hosts. The scenic location was beautiful with a lovely view from our bedroom. Kayaks were available if we wanted them. We went out for a beautiful riverside walk during our stay.
