Very nice quiet house
It was our first time in Normandy and we love it. The house is very quiet and you have to go to the next town (Lessay) to go shopping - but it was okay for us. Our dog also felt very comfortable and loved lying outside on the meadow. Since the whole property is fenced, we could leave our dog outside without any problems. The surroundings are beautiful and there is a lot to see. We all loved the walks at low tide. It should be noted that many beaches are closed to dogs in July and August (which we were not affected by in June). All the people we met, young and old, were very nice - even though we only communicated with a language app (I don't speak French). I can only recommend it!

Relaxing family vacation
This was our first time in Brittany and really enjoyed it. After the first week in the history-laden region around Bayeux / Landing Beaches, we mainly chilled in St. Germain. Great beaches, many excursion destinations, pure relaxation. The house offers plenty of space, is practically furnished, nothing is missing, the property is large. St. Germain is a rather sleepy place with a butcher and mini market. You can go shopping in Lessay, six kilometers away. In the next village, La Gavarie, there is a great little bakery opposite the parking lot. The beach at St. Germain Plage (4.5 km away) is beautiful. We liked Créances Plage (7 km) on the other side of the bay even better. Catherine is a very friendly host who only speaks French.

family holiday
We were as a family with a dog. The house is very nicely furnished, the garden is fenced. Catherine speaks only French but we got along well with hands and feet. She is a lovable hostess. The beach can be easily reached by car. We'll definitely be back
