Stunning Detached Villa In Lit-et-Mixe, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, South West France Reviews

This rental is in a quiet forested area, just outside of the lovely town of Lit-et-Mixe and 10 meters from the beach. It is modern, comfortable and well appointed. The caretakers are responsive and friendly and helpful. This is a great rental for a family but not for more than one couple because there is only one master bedroom and no privacy sleeping in the living room as you have to go through that to get to the kitchen. The kitchen is wonderfully large and equipped for company and there are 2 bathrooms which are always a plus with children! We had a wonderful time there

House does what it says on the tin
The house has really met all expectations. The spacious rooms make it easy to feel comfortable. TV with all major German channels, comfortable couches and a very well equipped kitchen and great bathrooms and beds are a perfect basis for a successful holiday on the Atlantic coast.
The house is a bit of a no-man's-land location and a car is essential for the daily errands. But if you are looking for some peace, you will find it here. No noise, no cars ... but live in the pure nature. In the morning you can admire deer or partridges in the huge garden and at night we also got a visit from a wild boar. For vacationers who like bustle and animation the accommodation is not suitable.
Our kids (6/9 years) could let off steam in the huge garden every day (badminton, boule, football, etc.) and the nearest beaches are good (10 minutes by car) to reach and very nice.
The local contact person was reliable and very personable. The house was clean and well maintained (not necessary to clean).
If we go back to the Atlantic coast, then this house is guaranteed again worth a visit. We would also recommend it to our friends at any time.
