LA CACHETTE is a detached stone cottage, set in its own private garden with panoramic views of the beautiful Sienne river valley. Located about 300 metres along a country lane which leads directly to a footpath beside the river, the gite is in the middle of a conservation area renowned for its stunning scenery.
A wonderful riverside walk meanders its way to Gavray, and many other superb walks are accessible direct from the gite. Fishing is available in the river within 200 yards of the gite and the area is teeming with wildlife such as deer, badgers, hare, buzzards, owls, and even the occasional otter.
The local town of Gavray, which is just 5 minutes by car, has a supermarket as well as a choice of restaurants, patisseries, banks, shops etc. A very popular market is held in the town every Saturday morning.

There is a large flat screen TV with english freeview channels, a DVD player with large selection of DVDs, CDs, books, games and puzzles.
Special Rental Conditions
£150 deposit per week, the balance due 6 weeks prior to arrival.
Fully inclusive of gas, electric. All linen provided. Local Tourist Tax is also paid in the rental charge. A welcome basket is waiting for your arrival, containing fresh bread, butter, cheeses, bottle local cider, tea, coffee and a few other goodies.
Bookings
These are normally Saturday from 2pm to Saturday 10.am but please enquire if you wish to book any other days. We do have 3 double b&b rooms in our house opposite. For more information please contact us.
We do accept dogs, after all they need a holiday as well.
It is up to the owners to please clear up after the dog in the garden or on the driveway.
