Our centrally heated 4 bedroom gîte sleeps 10 comfortably and is available to rent year round. It is as warm and cosy in the winter as it is cool and breezy in the summer.

Generous light and airy open plan living room and kitchen allow for plenty of space to stretch out and relax beneath the historic 200 yr old timbered ceilings. Bedrooms are cosy and comfortable. With 2 entrances to the gîte, dining al fresco is just steps away from the kitchen. If it’s a sauna you’re after to steam away aches and pains, we have one of those too. Perfect for 4 people to share.

In front of the gîte is a large courtyard with a wooden table for sunny breakfasts. Behind the gîte there are tables, chairs and a large barbecue in our glorious westerly facing mature gîte garden where flowers and trees abound and peace and tranquility transport you to a different place whether soaking up the sun or dozing in dappled shade.

For children and adults alike there is the games room, the ‘salle de jeux,’ an 80 m2 barn with table tennis, trampolines, gym mat, climbing rope, billiards and more. In the gardens are swings and space for football on the village green across the road. We actively encourage children to help collect eggs and help feed our chickens. If you’re feeling really adventurous, a nearby goat farm provides lessons in how to make bread and cheese and you can milk the goats.

For walkers and cyclists, there are countless hikes and rides through lush green valleys and ancient woodlands.

If the rolling countryside and stunning sandy beaches of the Cote d’Opale are not enough to keep you entertained, there are lots of nearby attractions, activities, parks and historic tours. Rent a canoe on the Canche river or visit Aqualud water park in Le Touquet. Roller coaster rides at Bagatelle in Berck and Dennly’s Theme Park in Dennebroeucq.  Zip-lines and high rope walks through the trees at Opalaventure at Saint Cecile and Quend Plage. History tours from Roman times through WW1&2. If you’re lucky you might spot seals on nearby beaches or discover rare birds migrating through the nature Reserve of the Baie Somme.
