Well-equipped house, with 4 real bedrooms, ideal for exploring magnificent walks in the Pyrenees (Ossau valley). Peaceful and quiet place, heated swimming pool in front of the very pleasant terrace at all hours. Neighbors taking care of the nearby house available and friendly.

Beautiful stay with a great view

We had a wonderful time in the comfortable house. The view from the terrace was incredible. Relaxing in the saltwater-treated, heated pool rounded off every day after hiking in the wonderful Pyrenees. Thank you for the relaxing stay with excellent organization - we would love to come back!

One of the best holiday properties we have stayed in, from booking to arriving everything was made so easy, a really well equipped house with linen and towels at your disposal.

It was truly a home away from home and a good heated pool to swim in each day.

The area had a lot to offer with places to visits for all ages.

Would recommend this property and we are already making plans to return again.

DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE.......

Views even better 'in real life' - fantastic. We've stayed in lots of holiday homes over the years but this is definitely amongst the best ever. Home from home - extremely characterful, comfortable house, very well equipped. Swimming pool very clean, swam most days whilst looking at the Pyrennes mountains! We really didn't want to leave and would love to return if we get the chance.

A spacious house with a great view of the Pyrenees
We rented this home in Ogeu les Bains for a week in January. We were six people in all: two grandparents, two parents and two children. The house is spacious and well-equipped, with good central heating and plenty of room for three generations. The patio looks out to the Pyrenees mountains and the Winter sunshine was warm enough for lunch outside. There are plenty of books and games etc. to suit most ages and tastes. There is also table tennis in the 'garage'.

There are good walks from the old part of the village and a ski station not too far away. The local shop caters for most needs and there is a bakery there too. Olorons is the nearest town and has numerous shops and restaurants. Pau is not too far away and the roads are good - even in midwinter.

All-in-all, an excellent place for a family holiday.

We stayed at this property in July `09 for one week.The directions supplied were very good and the house was easily found.

The property was clean,well maintained with excellent facilities including a lovely,heated,private pool directly outside the property with nice views of the mountains.Inside,the property was very spacious,having a large kitchen and dining area and comfortable lounge.The property was ideally located to explore the western end of the Pyrenees as well as being close to the lovely town of Oloron.As a keen cyclist I was in heaven,there are several famous cols nearby.We received excellent customer service both from the owners and their local agents.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to our friends.

This is one of the best villas we have stayed in over the past few years. All the little details (particularly in the kitchen) were there.

We arrived late with 2 small children who were hungry but were able to put together a meal in no time from the food left for us by Liz (the local contact).

This was just one of the kindnesses provided. What can one say about the villa itself? As described, really. Very comfortable and clean, wonderful pool, the views were fantastic, and soooooo peaceful - so much so that we did very little sightseeing but spent most of our time relaxing in, and by, the pool (if one can relax with two small, hyperactive boys!). The local facilities - supermarket (including excellent bakery), pharmacy, and railway station - were less than five minutes by car or a 15-20 minute stroll. For more choice larger supermarkets were less than half-hour by car. Everybody with whom we had contact - Annabel, Thane, Liz, and the pharmacy, when the eldest grandchild was unwell - could not have been more helpful. A great holiday had by all 3 generations.
