Spacious Holiday Gite with Swimming Pool, 4km from St Savin, vienne Reviews

Fabulous farmhouse with excellent facilities, it has everything you could ask for both in the house and outside. Everywhere was spotlessly clean for our arrival and we were greeted by Sarah and Steve (the owners, very lovely couple) they showed us around and answered any questions.
The pool is a great bonus, I think we used this every day of our two week holiday, the children loved it (especially our grandchildren ) the pool is maintained regularly by Steve early in the morning, with no intrusion to guests .
Both Sarah and Steve were on hand to help us with choices for supermarkets, restaurants, days out and anything else we needed, they were never intrusive but are always there if you need them.
We all had a fantastic time at Gite Artige and would recommend your lovely farmhouse to anyone for a fabulous peaceful holiday, a great place to chill out.

A wonderful very well maintained gite with everything you could possibly need to make your holiday a home from home. The gite is very clean and is a good size giving plenty of space in all rooms. The bedrooms are very spacious each with ensuite bathrooms.
The pool is a good size and can be used partially covered if the weather is not too good. There are plenty of outside seating and sun loungers with shaded areas if needed.
Steve and Sarah are lovely welcoming owners and incredibly helpful and knowledgeable of the local areas, places to visit and activities to book.
The nearest town, St Savin, is a short 20min drive from the gite and is a very pretty town that has a good supermarket, a variety of restaurants as well as a historical UNESCO site to visit.
The nearby velo rail is great fun for both adults and kids of all ages. There is also plenty of kayaking available to book in the area which was a lovely way to see the countryside from the river.
We would definitely stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here for both a relaxing holiday but also as a base to explore the surrounding areas.

A wonderful break just what we needed,Sarah and Steve were so friendly and helpful and the gite was immaculate and had everything we needed..Wish we could have stayed longer.
The surrounding countryside is beautiful with plenty to do nearby.we were lucky with the weather and we all enjoyed the pool.
Something for all ages and we shall definitely try to come back again..

Comfortable friendly and very relaxing.i would recommend Artige without hesitation

We had an lovely stay at Sarah & Steve's gite. It's really well equipped and was perfect for our 2 families, it was much bigger than we expected and the heated pool cover meant we were able to use the pool all day.

Sarah and Steve were really helpful with suggestions of where to go whilst we were there, accommodating and responsive during the booking process and were really thoughtful adding some cold drinks to the fridge for our arrival, which was very appreciated after a long hot journey.

Would thoroughly recommend!!

We stayed at Gite Artige for 2 weeks in August , the listing did not do the property justice . The property is very well equipped and maintained by the hosts to a very high standard,
The pool was larger than it seemed in the photos with inflatables provied and was cleaned regularly by the hosts.
There was also equipment provided for other outside activites such as swing ball, badmington.
The hosts were extremely helpful and were very approachable for advice and suggestions on the local area.
We are hoping to revisit again, as both the Gite and hosts were superb and made the holiday truly memorable.
Nearest Supermarket about 10 minutes by car, Saint Savin really worth visiting with atrip to the Abbey.
Poitiers was approx 40 minutes , parking made easy after directions from our hosts.
Thank you once again for making our holiday such a wonderful 2 weeks.
