The Area:
The house is situated on a rural lane with meadows bordered by trees, offering lovely evening strolls. There is an open view from the house over sunflowers or cornfields. The nearby town of Lucon (4 miles) offers a pleasant town centre around the cathedral and the municipal gardens, along with a good choice of restaurants. Be sure to explore the forest trails at St Gemme la Plaine (3 miles). Within easy reach of the historic town of Fontenay le Comte, the Mervent forest, Green Venice and Le Puy du Fou theme park, as well as many holiday activities and attractions of the south Vendee.
