The House of Villeboisien is an exquisitely-restored 18th Century mansion set in the beautiful countryside on the border of Charente and Dordogne, arguably the most beautiful countryside in France. The Charente holiday rental house is positioned at the top of the hill and therefore enjoys spectacular views over the surrounding valleys and the small village of Villebois Lavalette (population about 750). The town is easily accessible from the house and is host to numerous amenities including two boulangeries, a butchers, patisserie, a small hotel with restaurant, a bar, a grand town hall, and best of all…the 17th century covered market selling wonderful local produce just 200 metres from the house. There's even a Super U supermarket less than 1/2 mile away.

Please mention preferred currency at time of booking. Thereafter, all amounts will be in that currency.
Reservation deposit: 30% of the rental cost within two weeks of requesting the reservation at time the booking is confirmed.
Balance to be paid no less than 6 weeks before the date reserved.
In the event of cancellation, you will be charged according to the following schedule: less than three weeks before the date of reservation: 100% of the rental amount between three and six weeks of the date of reservation: 60% of the rental amount
Security deposit: £200 or € 300 or $400; this amount, less any damage payment, will be returned within two weeks of leaving the house.
Please note: we do limit occupancy to a maximum of 8 persons.
