Self Catering Holiday Apartment With Garden And Pool in Roquebrune - Le Pigeonnier

A completely new and totally self-contained air-conditioned ground floor apartment Roquebrune sur Argens. The apartment has an area of 48m2 and sleeps 2 people. It' comprises one double bedroom with double bed, a living room with a sofa-bed, TV with DVD, an Italian-style wet room with shower and washbasin, a separate toilet, 3 wardrobes and a fully-fitted and fully equipped kitchen.
The kitchen has a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge-freezer,oven, microwave oven, vitro-ceramic hotplate, electric grill, kettle, coffee-maker and toaster. There is WIFI internet connection. The apartment opens onto the garden and pool (shared with the owners). The pool is 8m x 3.5m. Bed linen and towels (except beach towels) are provided. Whilst there is no garage, there is easy parking in side streets.

Roquebrune sur Argens is a charming Provencal village with Medieval and Roman remains: a Roman aqueduct, chapels, a heritage museum and ancient home to the Knights Templar. The village is also home to the arts with art and sculpture galleries as well as numerous exhibitions.

Two kilometrres away there are several supermarkets. We are 30 minutes from Cannes by motorway, 50 minutes from Nice Airport and 1 hour 15 minutes from Italy. St Tropez is nearby and in easy reach is Toulon, a beautiful naval city. Marseille, the second city of France and finally the Camargue about 3 hours away in the direction of Spain.

Close to the town centre there is a lake with amenities such as restaurants and bars, catering for leisure activities with pedalos and boat trips on the river Argens, overlooked by the magnificent Red Rock rising up behind, giving the village its name. The property is located in the heart of the village with shops on your doorstep: a street market on Fridays, restaurants, bars, very good quality grocery shops: specialist pastry shops; locally made chocolates, honey and olive oil production as well as res, rosé and white wine production.

We are ideally located just 6 kms from the coast of Fréjus (an old Roman port) with its modern marina and St-Aygulf with its harbour and miles of protected sandy beaches ideal for swimming one way and little rocky coves and inlets with their own sandy beaches the other, all easily accessed from an ancient coastal footpath or from the main road going through Saint Aygulf to Sainte Maxime, another charming seaside resort, going on to St-Tropez made famous by Brigitte Bardot. 

St. Raphaël is also worth a visit and is just 15 minutes away. There is a beautiful and popular seaside resort with a Luna Park fun-fair and water fun park in summer with various kinds of water sports facilities as well as two gaming casinos. There is a Go-Kart track and indoor bowling alley.

Other sports facilities include tennis, golf, water skiing, horse-riding and a sports hall. Roquebrune is also well-known for its hiking trails in and around the famous Red Rock.
