Le Roudier first opened its doors to guests in 1996. The current owners, Paul and Dearbhla took over in 2003 and have welcomed many holiday makers from around the globe since then.
They have worked on adding to and improving Le Roudier with sympathic renovation over the years. They have enjoyed making it their home and bringing up their young family in this beautiful and tranquil corner of the Dordogne.
The 300 year old buildings of Le Roudier stand in over 30 acres of glorious Perigordian countryside with fantastic panoramic views across the adjoining valley.
It is surrounded by wonderful rolling countryside and yet only a few kilometres from the bastide town of Eymet. Bergerac town is a mere 20 minutes away and the airport provides excellent connections to the UK and Europe. Le Roudier provides an oasis of peace and tranquility for a relaxing holiday, plus a good base for sightseeing and other more active pursuits.
This beautiful hamlet of Le Roudier comprises of 4 cottages, the main farmhouse and converted bake house. The cottages are centred around the larger of the two swimming pools and can be rented individually or collectively, catering for up to 30 people.
Depending on the size of your party, you can book one or all of the cottages. Share a pool or have exclusive use.
Description of Cottage:
Part of the original farmhouse and barn facing south. The cottage has been adapted to cater for wheelchair users.
Accommodation:

• Large bathroom with wash basin, w.c. and walk-in shower.
• Kitchen/diner with dishwasher, washing-machine, American style fridge-freezer, microwave, oven and gas hob.

• Walibi Amusement park :
Located in Agen, only about an hours drive from Le Roudier. Wallabi caters for all age groups and is a great day out.
• Laser Play :
Located in Bergerac, only 20 minutes from Le Roudier. This new indoor facility is great for the over 5s and has a trampoline play area onsite.
• Giga-Parc & Les Petits Castors, Soft play zone :
Located on the East side of Bergerac, 25 minutes from Le Roudier. Ideal for the smaller children these soft play areas have great spaces to tire the little ones out.
• Parc en Ciel, climbing park/ trees and zip wires :
Located 45 minutes South West of Le Roudier this custom made tree park is fantastic for the energetic and brave. Younger guests (over 5s) can tackle the lower circuits whereas the more advanced sections are ideal for the over 12s. Full details on age limits can be found on the website.
• Go Karts :
Located in Bergerac just 20 minutes from Le Roudier the outdoor track caters for 2 age groups, juniors (under 12s) and senoirs (over 12s). Does not operate in the wet.
• Aqua Parks :
There are several water parks within an hours drive.
