We wanted a reasonable, well located 2BR apartment for a long weekend in Chamonix and found this one. The location was perfect, walking distance to everything in the center of Chamonix, with a bakery downstairs, a great restaurant (don't miss it - La Petit Kitchen) and ski shops next door, and the hub of the town all in view from the terrace. Killer views from the terrace of Chamonix incredible mountains. Nothing fancy about the apartment, but clean and spacious and for the price, couldn't be beat. Working with Ute, the homeowner was easy, he is very responsive, and the local manager took care of check-in no problem. Small item (very small) - there wasn't any toilet paper or soap when we arrived, either there should be, or they should let us know. The unit could use an upgrade, thus the 4 star instead of 5 star rating. Very nice to have wifi, but why 40 characters for the password? Highly recommended, would definitely return.

Nice, bright, clean apartment in a wonderful location in Chamonix. We stayed with our 2 year old and had a great time. Setting up everything and leaving worked out great, as well.

Superb aparment

Perfect location. Setback in a town square on top of a restaurant, a bakery and a superb skiset shop. Staff were fantastic and spoke perfect English. Fragrant croissants and baguettes wafting up the stairs in the mornings !! The town is a 2 minute stroll away.

The bus stop is a short walk away and the returning Le Tour bus drops you virtually 10 yards from the main entrance !! Only downside would be the seating on a night as the settee isn't as comfy as it looks, but would definitely book again. Plenty of room for 4 and plenty of hot water for the showers. There is a supermarket within 2 minutes walk so all in all a great apartment.

Gemütliche Wohnung in Toplage im Herzen von Chamonix. Gepflegt, toller Blick vom Balkon auf das Mont Blanc Massiv, praktisch und gut ausgestattet mit dem Plus zweier Badezimmer, eines Tiefgaragenplatzes und einer Bäckerei unten im Haus - duftende Baguettes von Früh bis Spät. Fahrt zu den beiden nächstgelegenen Pistenregionen in 5 bzw 10min. Zuverlässige Besitzerin sowie Verwalter in Chamonix.

We have just arrived home from a fantastic month driving around Europe in which we used this apartment as a base for 5 night.

The apartment is exactly how it is in the photo. It's clean, comfortable, well-maintained and has all the facilities you will need during your stay. The kids loved the selection of children's DVD's and games. The private car park space was also ideal as we knew the car was safe and secure.

It's in an ideal location for walking, skiing or sightseeing around Chamonix and the Mont Blanc valley. Although we were in the centre of town, it was never noisy and it was lovely spending our evenings on the balcony looking at the fantastic views of Mont Blanc.

An excellent apartment situated in an ideal position on the edge of the centre of the town. It is decorated in the style of the region and is in excellent order.

A morning cuppa looking at the aiguille du midi from the balcony starts the day properly. The garage, very private and secure, is beneath the apartment and easily accessible. Very well equipped and managed by a very friendly ex pat English man who will help with any queries, but, will not be 'under your feet'.

Superb base in a beautiful area. Will definately be visiting again !

We've just arrived home in the UK after a really fantastic week in Chamonix at this apartment. Thank you so much for providing us with a lovely base from which to explore the beautiful scenery. We loved the apartment, comfortable, well-kept and good facilities and we spent a LOT of time sitting on the balcony watching Mont-Blanc and also the hustle and bustle below in the square! The ski locker was also so helpful for storing our luggage yesterday. We will definitely be recommending this apartment to others, thank you Ute.

We stayed just after Christmas 2010, the apartment was exactly like the photos, clean, warm & cosy, lots of hot water which was lovely after a day on the slopes and equipped with everything you might need.

The location is great with ski busses on the door step, the centre of town just a stroll away, even a patisserie downstairs.

We parked the car in the car park and that is where it stayed for the duration.

I would highly recommend this apartment and Chamonix!
