Sarlat Holiday House with Private Heated Pool and Superb Views Reviews

Fantastic holiday house in excellent location.

Our second visit to this splendid holiday house at the end of August. This time we brought all the family(6adults and 2 children)to share our experience of Sarlat.

Jean the owner promptly answered all my queries before our arrival. He even allowed us to arrive early and park so we could visit the market in the town. Something not to be missed.

The owner has provided comfortable leather seating, a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, air conditioning. The grandchildren slept on the bed settee upstairs. Great outdoor space, the terrace has wonderful views of Sarlat. Huge table for family meals. We never ate inside as beautiful weather. The pool was a great attraction for everyone as was the billiard table and table tennis. The children loved the swing and playing in the garden.

The path down into town takes about 5-10 minutes. You need a torch if you come back late in the evening. We used our mobiles. The town itself is bustling with shops and restaurants, entertainment was on every corner. Make sure you go down in the evening, lots of musicians.

Thanks for allowing us to stay in your beautiful house and many thanks for the wine and nut gateaux which was waiting for us on arrival. I would recommend this holiday house, you will not be disappointed. The owner has thought of everything to make your stay special.

Perfect setting!

We had a wonderful time staying here. The owner happened to be in town and met us personally. Since we arrived on a Sunday, he kindly supplied us with milk, bread, fruit and wine, among other things, to get us started. The pool was amazing and the house was very clean and fresh. We loved the fuss ball table and walking down the quiet path to the town of Sarlat. It's a great area, and the house made our vacation all the better.

Excellent customer service!

We came all the way from Chicago to spend 2 weeks at this lovely house . When booking, I was very nervous to wire transfer so much money abroad but Jean Yves took time to answer all my questions. I am very glad I trusted him and we booked this property ! The house was spacious, the kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable (I am hard to please here), and the air conditioning was essential, as it was extremely hot. Previous renters mentioned the houses perfect location , great views and the pool and patio. I also enjoyed the beautiful garden . Etienne met us upon arrival, showed us how everything worked , and by the way, fixed my son's iPad :) . If we had any questions , either Etienne or Jean Yves were just a text away . We asked if it was possible to check out a little later, and they accommodated. Overall , we were very happy with the house and the service, and would be happy to return. Thanks, JY and Etienne!

Picturesque house, great location!

The house was even nicer than we could tell from the photos. The view from the pool and tiled porch of the house was stunning - you can see almost all of Sarlat centre. Our kids loved the fuss ball table, pool, swing set and wide screen tv. It was lovely to be able to walk down a path to the town and not fool with parking. The beds were comfortable and the owner left us some snacks and wine which were very much appreciated. You could tell that they decorated the house with the holiday renter's wishes in mind. I highly recommend this house.

Excellent location

We spent a week at the property and were really pleased with the location. A 10 minute walk from the centre of

Sarlat meant not having to take the car and find parking when going into town each day to relax in the beautiful square. Down a hill but not steep.Quiet location with views over the town.Loved the outside areas where all our time was spent.Lots to occupy children.The pool table was a great hit.The main terrace overlooks the pool so you can keep an eye on kids. Kitchen directly onto terrace so good compact area of kitchen,terrace and pool.Terrace very spacious and all our time was spent here.2 large awning provided good shade.Kids loved very long pool.Large supermarket a couple of mins drive.Owner very friendly. If we were returning to Sarlat we would stay here again. Family of 5 ( 2 ten yr olds and a 15yr old. )

location super géniale

Voici 2 années de suite que nous passons plusieurs semaines dans cette maison idéalement située au calme et pourtant si proche du centre médieval de Sarlat. La maison est bien équipée et bien entretenue,comme la grande piscine bien chauffée. Belle vue sur Sarlat depuis la terrasse et le jardin qui invitent au repos et aux barbecues.Nous avons de plus été très touchés par l'accueil reçu, a la fois convivial et chaleureux.....et instructif aussi! Il y a tant de sites et de bonnes tables à découvrir que les conseils étaient les bienvenus. Merci, Etienne!! Pas de doutes nous y re-re-retournerons.

Le calme y est absolu et la maison offre des prestations de qualité.

Une grande maison bien équipée avec une terrasse donnant sur Sarlat, que demander de mieux? Le temps n'a pas toujours été génial mais il y a tellement de choses à faire dans la région qu'on ne peut s' ennuyer.le propriétaire nous accueille chaleureusement et nous donne tous les bons plans. En résumé :apero en terrasse, concours de billard et babyfoot, accès à la ville à pied, marché, foie gras et autres spécialités tout ça donne de super vacances entre amis qu'il faudra renouveller !

A bientôt donc pour de nouvelles aventures dans cette maison sarladaise!

Trés belle maison idéalement placée

Très belle maison trés bien équipée et idéalement placée. La possibilité d'aller à Sarlat à pied (300m) est un véritable atout et permet d'éviter les bouchons et les difficultés pour se garer. la piscine est parfaite - chauffée comme il se doit.

Le propriétaire est sympa et ses conseils très judicieux .

Jolie maison ou le calme et la serenite sont au rdv.

La proprete y est irreprochable et les conseils du proprietaire un plus.

Rapport qualite / prix tres satisfaisant.
