Lovely accommodation. Clean and very well equipped. Beautiful views. Great walks from the front door throughout the local area. Excellent location for getting about. Chris was a font of information regarding things to do. One recommendation to definitely do is to go to Belves night market (Take plates, cutlery and glasses). We were a group booking and took 3 accommodations. The pool was clean and didn’t seem overcrowded when the other guests joined us. I would definitely recommend.

Our second visit to this lovely spot. Accommodation was clean & well maintained. The pool was very welcome, with great views over the countryside and a great spot to relax after a day sightseeing. Chris was very helpful and always available for advice on restaurants and places to visit. Although in a rural location not far from Sarlat & the lovely surrounding villages.

A light, clean gite away from the hussle and bussle of town noise with a spectacular view overlooking the countryside. We were here for 2 weeks of amazing spring weather with temperatures generally in the high 20s. We went kayaking on the Dordogne which was probably the highlight of our stay. We also cycled which was beautiful using two companies, Bike Bus and LibertyCycles both of whom were excellent. The folder in the villa is full of information which was priceless for us and we did numerous scenic drives and walks using that information. Chris was fabulous, calling in nearly every day to make sure everything was OK and providing ideas and information on local attractions. We would thoroughly recommend this stay to couples and families seeking a bit of peace and quiet with the benefit of not being far away from the attractions. Thank you Chris for helping to make this a memorable holliday and sorry about leaving the back door unlocked when we left!

What’s to say that hasn't already been said. If it’s not the beautiful countryside or the warm inviting pool, the lovely accommodation or the surrounding peace, then it’s the wonderful hosts that you have come for. Chris and Kate couldn't have been more accommodating and made our holiday in every way perfect. The children enjoyed the pool every day which was warm, clean and safe and especially enjoyed the late night swims that Chris kindly organised. I’m writing this 5 months after our return and the thought of being there still puts a smile on my face. We left with heavy hearts, but sure that we would return one day. I always enjoy a holiday where you can relax from day one which is easily achieved at Ferme La Tour. If you are thinking about booking, I can save you some time and deliberation…..just do it, you’ll be very pleased you did.

We have been at this beautiful spot for a week and were surprise by a nice and proper Gite with full equipment and thick Walls to hold the summer heat on distance. The look from the little terrace over the absolut clean swimmingpool and the landscape of the Dordogne was breathtaking. Chris the owner was very often present and open for all questions. It was one of the Best Gites we had in Trance, so that it is only consequent to highly recommand this accomodation. We already decided to come back next year.

We keep thinking back to this holiday because we loved it so much. The gite itself was lovely , very clean, tidy and so quaint with the beams. We used the courtyard for all of our meals because of the lovely view across the dordogne countryside. The swimming pool was fab and a good chance to talk to the other guests in the other gites. Chris and Kate were great hosts, Chris even erected an extra shade over the patio when it got too hot. All in all a great escape and we will definitely be returning.
