This charming one bedroom Dordogne cottage rental is ideally situated in a peaceful location just a few minutes walk to the amenities of the village of Salignac-Eyvigues. The property boasts fantastic views of the medieval village, and offers 2 guests tastefully furnished accommodation, well maintained gardens with a swimming pool. The cottage is the ideal base from which to explore this beautiful region of France.
The accommodation of this romantic Salignac-Eyvigues gite comprises of one bedroom with a four-poster bamboo bed, one bathroom with large bath, separate shower cubicle, washbasin with vanity and WC. There is a well equipped kitchen area fully-fitted with fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave, this room gives access onto the private patio. Downstairs features an open plan Sitting/dining area with dining table with 4 chairs, 2 seater sofa, coffee table, sideboard, flat screen TV, DVD player, French and English satellite TV.
Outside guests will find a charming private patio with table and 4 chairs and a BBQ. Steps from this patio lead up to the garden and swimming pool. The swimming pool, which is shared with the adjoining cottage, is 8 x 4m and there is a selection of chairs, sunloungers and umbrellas by the pool, plus some pool toys.
This delightful self catering Dorodgne rental cottage is ideally situated to explore the many attractions and activities that this beautiful region of France has to offer for guests of all ages. The Dordogne and Vezere Rivers are just 15 minutes drive and offer beaches, canoeing and wonderful picnic areas. The historical town of Sarlat boasts a weekly market where you can purchase the best regional produce, with chateau's, prehistoric caves, beautiful gardens, animal parks, local village fairs and vibrant markets meaning you will never be short of things to see and do. Closer to home the pretty village center of Salignac-Eyvigues is just a few minutes stroll and offers restaurants, tourist office, bank, small supermarket, butcher, baker, hairdresser, flower shop, and an antique shop.

At the edge of the village towards Sarlat is a bigger supermarket, 2 minutes drive or maybe 15 minutes walk.

There are chateaux, prehistoric caves, gardens, animal parks, many outdoor activities, local village fairs and markets, dining out, wine-tasting, the nut trail - all within a few minutes to an hour's drive. Special Rental Conditions
The preferred changeover day is Saturday. If guests are leaving on the same day as new guests are arriving, we ask that departure is by 10am and arrival is after 4pm, to allow plenty of time for thorough cleaning.
To book, please complete a booking form and send with a deposit of £50 per person, with the full payment due 8 weeks before the holiday.
