Nestled in the very heart of this mythic countryside, the ten acre domain of Lei Chambris provides the essential Provençal experience, from the simple to the sublime.


We are located just 2km from the charming medieval villages of Villecroze and Salernes and a few kms from Tourtour in this unspoilt region of the Var. It is a stunning traditional Provencal bastide which is the perfect retreat from the everyday pressures of life! Nestling in the foothills of St. Barthélémy, we are situated in an area renowned for its outstanding beauty and natural healing waters. Lei Chambris is set in 10 acres of completely tranquil surroundings rich with poplar forests and crystal clear streams. We offer a stylish range of self-catering private accommodation with a fantastic 15 metre, swimming pool. Relax and chill out under the gazebo on one of the comfortable sofas. The large covered terrace is great for enjoying meals.

Lei Chambris offers charming and unique accommodations, from the French bastide to a log cabin, for up to 16 guests (but would suit smaller groups of 8-12 people), making it the perfect destination for family reunions, wedding parties, corporate retreats or a holiday with friends. We will work with you to design a bespoke holiday to include activities, classes and visits to suit your special group. Some of the many popular activities include onsite yoga, spa treatments, kayaking in the Gorges du Verdon, golf outings, a day in St Tropez and Provençal cuisine classes.


Independent travellers can join us for one of our week long Flavours of Provence Holiday Courses offering expert instruction in photography, pottery, yoga, herbal remedies, French conversation, and cooking. Highlights of your week in Provence include a visit to the village market; wine and olive oil tastings; and enjoying convivial gourmet meals en plein air created by our chef using local fresh ingredients. And free time can be spent exploring the glorious Provençal landscape or simply lounging by the pool sipping rosé or taking a siesta in a hammock under the trees.
