Gorgeous property & great location, perfect for friends or family holidays. We are a family of 7 people and spent a week on this beautiful and magnificent apartment. I must say this is our third time we rent this property, mainly because of itslovely ambiance and extraordinary location. Every time we come back I feel at home...but in Paris, the charming city. The apartment is located in the heart of Le Marais, a trendy parisien district, and it is only a few blocks from the most important museums of the city, the well recognized Picasso and Pompidou. The closest Metro is only 3 blocks from the building and many buses can be easily taken from a block away. Many supermarkets, bakeries ("boulangeries"), cafes, fruit and vegetable stands and delicious spots to eat ("brasseries" and restaurants) are within a few blocks. The apartment is part of a magnificent 18th century building, so by the time you first cross the high portal from the sidewalk and observe the beautiful architecture of this palace, you will feel in a special place. Despite the apartment is part of a historical palace, everything has been carefully planned and designed. They have preserved the full structure of the building and every part is artfully decorated, not only historical but also in and practical way. The beds are very comfortable and have good quality linens. Each room has electric radiators and can be easily adjusted, so don't worry if Paris punishes you with cold or rainy weather. The bathrooms are are very nice and have enough hot water for seven people. Although the kitchen is not huge, it's just perfect to prepare meals if you don't want to go to a restaurant and feel home.

Great location, clean and comfortable. As a group of 6 women celebrating our 40th birthdays, this was a great location and lots of space to spread out in the apartment. Beds were comfortable and was spotless clean on arrival. Loved the privacy ofthe courtyard. Very quiet and we felt quite safe. Area has a lot of great restaurants, cocktail bars and shopping which was perfect. Owners were helpful, reliable and accommodating which was much appreciated! Suggestions for improvement include a new washer/dryer that doesn't take 9 hrs per cycle. The coffee table is vicious on those sharp corners! Consider replacing as a few leg scars have been tattooed on our legs. Basement sleeping is a damp, so a dehumidifier would be a great addition. Overall, a wonderful trip with amazing memories that will last is a lifetime! Thanks for the hospitality!

Exception Customer Service. Commendable Rentals(CR) represents prime real estate properties in highly desirable locations. What we felt sets CR above similar organizations was their immediate and complete resolution of issues that inevitably ariseduring any weekly rental in foreign countries. Susan Doull's responsiveness reminded us of a family member who was completely dedicated to insuring everything worked out well...the hallmark of a truly reputable and excellently managed organization.

Nice accommodations and superb location. Wonderful to have four bedrooms in such a prime location. Circular staircase a bit of a challenge, but we weren't really there much!! A bit hard to reach a local contact when a fuse blew, but all in all, we'drecommend Vivaldi!

We were truly impressed by the feeling that we were at home "chez nous" while staying at Vivaldi. ON top of this good feeling, we had everything we needed, exactly like at home. All appliances were in perfect condition. Heating was "comme il faut".the agency representative was both charming and efficient. The location of Vivaldi is superb. Everything we needed for daily use was nearby. We enjoyed privacy which one does not have in a hotel. We were within the family, and it gave us a wonderful feeling.

Great Marais Option. Our two families (4 adults and 3 kids) stayed here for almost two weeks in July. The apartment was in a great location close to two different metro stops, lots of restaurants and other sites. We found the neighborhood veryParisian so we felt like we were locals. The apartment it self is good size and is as described. Two bedrooms on the main floor and two downstairs. To get downstairs you have to go down a very narrow spiral staircase, so we let the kids stay downstairs and spent most of our time upstairs. There's a little living room, then separately a large dinning area attached to a kitchen. Everything was comfortable and we very much enjoyed our stay.

This property is great for a family stay, the location is perfect and the host is very accommodating when it comes to luggage storage as we arrived on an early flight.

Wonderful! Charming, well-appointed and great location! We spent the Christmas holiday at this wonderful apartment with a family of eight, four adults and four children, and we have nothing but positive things to say! The apartment was easy tolocate, had a big pretty red door to a lovely courtyard and we were greeted immediately and we were more than pleased with the amenities upon arrival. The downstairs bedrooms were spacious and well appointed and wonderful for the children and they had plenty of room to play as well. The upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and spacious. We all remarked on how comfortable and warm the bedding was in all the rooms. The bathrooms all had hairdryers, which was an unexpected and welcomed bonus, as well as ample towels and towel warmers. We also found the heat to work well and we did have a few cold days to put it to the test. There was ample closet and storage space. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a wonderful Christmas dinner (albeit no actual oven, just a microwave, but that wasn't really a big deal for us). The dining table easily fit us all and there were plenty of plates and utensils. We had one minor snag when we couldn't figure out how to turn on the washer/dryer, but then found the switch on the wall in the hallway--might be something to note in the house manual. We also loved how quiet the apartment was at all times. Finally, the location in the Marais is wonderful--easy walking distance from lovely groceries, bakeries and wine shops, as well as bars (we loved the Andy Wahloo--true mixologists) and restaurants. Definitely consider renting this place, as we plan to keep it on our list for the future! Merci and Bon Voyage!
