Maison Lafeuille is an attractive 17th Century Quercynoix Stone Farmhouse that provides comfortable accommodation for up to 13 people in 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. The property is set in extensive grounds with a large mature garden and 10m private pool and is ideal for large parties that may include several families. The extensive grounds, which have mature trees, shady terraces that are great for relaxing, plus a large flat paddock that is ideal for garden games. The peaceful hilltop location affords charming views for guests staying at this majestic farmhouse that boasts fascinating ancient architectural features. Located high above the village in a hamlet of five dwellings, the house has been carefully restored over the last decade by skilled masons and carpenters from the area.
The first floor provides spacious accommodation with comfortable modern facilities throughout. The house has retained its original features including whitewashed and bare stone walls, original inglenook fireplaces and striking oak timberwork and floorboards. The kitchen is well equipped with a five burner gas hob with fan assisted oven, two fridge/freezers, dishwasher, microwave and a toaster. The living area has ample and comfortable seating around a vast inglenook fireplace and also provides a large oak dining table and a good upright piano for musical soirées. On the first and second floors there are three large double bedrooms, a small bedroom with original built-in curtained box bed and a vast dormitory style area with six single beds. Bathrooms on all three levels of the house are located above each other in the pigeonnier tower.
Garden equipment includes a barbecue, sun loungers, large parasols and plenty of tables and chairs. Guests can find an excellent baker and butcher just a five minute drive away in Aynac. Good supermarkets and restaurants are also in easy reach.
