Escape back to nature.
Your private mountain retreat in the South of France.
Wild Boar Mountain is a Self-catering private holiday estate with 2 hectares of land and stunning views of the mountains, all to yourself, completely secluded from the rest of the world. Whether you are looking for a family holiday or an exclusive setting for you and your friends, or a relaxing rejuvenating retreat for you to escape to for some alone time, Wild Boar Mountain provides a place like no other, which allows you to escape the busy lives we all live and provide a totally relaxing vacation. Relax by the natural salt infinity pool, unwind in the sauna, or spend a night in the treehouse amidst the sound of nature or enjoy a fun overnight stay in the 200 year-old stone Shepherd’s hut.
The properties are large enough to accommodate 8 people: Main house sleeps 4 - Guest house sleeps 4 - Shepherd’s Hut sleeps 2 - Treehouse sleeps 2.
We recommend that the Treehouse or Shepherd’s Hut is more for a few nights stay, as an experience of the excitement of spending a few nights in the wild.
Wild Boar Mountain offers private parking with electric gates, plus a housekeeper on call. So, the property is extremely secure and you are just one call away from help if there is an emergency. The local town and shops are only 10 minutes away.
There is internet access throughout the property – in the main house, on all the terraces, the guest house and even by the pool.
The Property:
The Wild Boar Mountain property is completely private; two hectares of land set in the mountains, on the borders of the Languedoc National Park, with breath-taking views. It is the perfect place to escape to and relax, soak in all the scenery and nature.
Wild Boar Mountain is a self-catering rental property, split into 4 sets of accommodation. Not only is the property gorgeous, but the land is surrounded by trees and mountains, plus vineyards, olive orchards and cherry trees, providing stunning views. It is no wonder that Wild Boar Mountain has been used for film shoots.
For anyone who is a keen walker or cyclist and likes to explore, this place is a haven in the South of France. There are numerous trails leading to and from the vicinity. The property is up in the mountains so if not using your car it's an easier ride down the hill than back up but provides great excersise, or put the bikes on the tower provided and drive down!
If you prefer to just relax around the property, then there is also plenty to do there. If you like to sunbathe, you can enjoy the many sunny terraces. Don’t worry, there are also shaded areas. Why not go for a dip in the large saltwater fenced pool, which features a waterfall and cave. Take a moment and unwind in the sauna, overlooking the pool and views. Whatever you do, you will have a view from every angle, onto the valley and the mountain.
So, whether you are gathered in the kitchen by the pool, dining on the main terrace, or lounging by the pool, that feeling of space, tranquillity and authenticity makes for a truly memorable holiday experience.
