We absolutely loved la Salesse…. I was happiest there than I’ve been in ages. (It’s been a tough year, dad died in Jan). Window screens were great at La Salesse… and made life there more comfortable. No bites. The pool and view were stunning, and we occasionally had swallows dip in the pool for a drink in the eve which was amazing. The setting of La Salesse made it feel very private. Any way, I’d love to return to La Salesse.
SHEFFIELD party (August 2019)
Sorry we meant to write in your visitors book before we left! We had a lovely week in your beautiful home relaxing in the glorious peace and tranquility! The weather was kind so much time spent relaxing by the pool and on the two cloudy days made the most of exploring the area. A jolly evening in Parisot on the last night, the French do love their karioke!! We did some watering to ensure the beautiful plants didn’t suffer in the heat. I was intrigued by what I think was a smooth snake living in the hole in the wall on the left as you through the gate up to the pool…..it gave me quite a shock as it slithered away into the wall! The house was perfect, everything that we needed and many thanks for the basket of goodies that surprised and delighted us on our arrival.
BAGNALL party (August 2019)
“We are from Germany and my teenage sons were not looking forward to this holiday as they remembered French houses being dark and unwelcoming. Imagine our delight when we felt this house really welcome us in – it was a happy place, open and airy and we all loved it and it brought our family together again. At the end of this lovely holiday we all wanted to come back next year””
“We have been to La Salesse 3 times now. We love the house that is so well equipped and comfortable – it is better than our own! The pool and garden is wonderful, and so peaceful. The garden is big enough for the kids to play and “hide” and yet be within calling distance, and the pool is safe for the little ones and yet good for real swimming”.
