Whether you are looking for a retreat in nature, or a base for walks and experienced cycling, this is the perfect rental house. There are so many walks to choose from, straight from the front door and part of the Tour de France itinerary 2012 on the doorstep, as well as many other challenging routes. For the less energetic, you can relax with a book and a glass of wine, overlooking the forested valley or watch the sun setting over the mountains to the west, from the dining table.

Over the last ten years the owner and his wife have poured their hearts into a beautiful renovation, using ecological building materials whenever possible. The character of this old building has been retained with some of the original exposed stone walls and the contrasting plaster and whitewashed walls with old wooden beams and doorways.

ACCOMMODATION:

The kitchen is well equipped with electric oven, 3 gas rings and 1 electric, washing machine, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, microwave, iron, ironing board and 12 complete place settings. There is a hairdryer, BBQ and WIFI in the house.

On arrival you can leave your car behind the house in its parking space. Pass through a small gate and you find a small terrace with access to the main bedroom on the second floor. Beyond the terrace is a path the leads down onto the wooden deck with its spectacular views or access to the front door of the house on the 1st floor

The front door brings you directly into the dining room. This is a lovely light space with awe inspiring views across the valley to the south. A beautiful sun set awaits you from the north west over the parking space to the rear of the house. With its wood fired stove set in the corner of the room in this space you will be sure to unwind at all times of the year.

The spacious living room on the 1st floor is easily accessed from the dining area. It has its own wood stove 3 sofas of which one a convertible bed. The 2nd bedroom can be accessed from the living room. 
It is not well adapted to older or taller people due to its low ceiling on arriving up the staircase, however it is a charming room that is well suited to children.

The main bedroom is located above the dining room. It has its own private bathroom. The main bathroom is located between the dining room and living room.

Externally there is a large deck where you can relax and take in the views.
It's equipped with BBQ, dining table with parasol and sun loungers.
Below the deck is another private terrace which can be accessed from the garden.
