Christopher welcomed us in front of the house after our arrival. This wa a bit tricky due to traffic limitations in the area there. Chris gave us corresponding recommendations beforehand. So we haven't any troubles to get there. The flat is lovely, charming. We are not able to describe how nice it is! From the first view onwards we felt like home. The home is spacious, nice decorated and a Nespresso coffee maker is there. He prepared basics for breakfast for the first days for us without any request. Thank you for this additional service. During our stay Chris gave us tipps for trips and sightseeings. We highly recommend Chris as host and his charming flat for a stay there.

Excellent stay, good location, very quiet right in the middle of town. Christopher showed us a free parking at 10 minutes' walk. All necessities fully present, good communication. A few tips: instead of a handheld shower, it would be nice if you can hang the shower with a shower curtain, if you like a busy interior, you're in the right place. We were invited to a drink with the owners who live next door, very cozy people.

We were very happy to stay in Christopher’s apartment. It was very cosy, with lots of art and other nice objects, and there was all that we needed in the kitchen, etc. There was also a nice small ‘balcony’. The only thing that we could wish for (we were there, when it was very hot), is that the balcony could be opened more.
Even though the apartment is situated in the centre of the city, it was nice and quiet.
Christopher was very helpful, and we could contact him (almost) anytime. We could consider to come back :-)

The location is perfect, right in the centre of Caen, with markets, shops and restaurants just outside the door. The apartment is clean, stylish and charming and we felt just like home during our weekly long stay and would like to come back.
Christopher and Jeanne were very friendly hosts and gave us good information and help, if needed. We can highly recommend a trip to Caen and to stay in this lovely apartment!

This is a very well-appointed apartment in the heart of centre ville Caen. Everything you would want to see is walkable: the castle walls, the markets, the two Norman abbeys, loads of stores, restaurants, book shops . . .
Christopher's communication was great right from the start, when he literally was standing at the front door when we arrived and helped us with our luggage. Everything inside was comfortable, the bed was great, and the kitchen was especially excellent. The only minor issue is the shower, which is simply a big tub with a shower hose and no shower curtain, so it takes some practice to shower effectively without getting water everywhere. In every other respect, this was a top Airbnb experience.
