Le Clos Jean Cottages are successfully run by Robin and Jean. The cottages are easily accessible by car through the eurotunnel, ferry ports and the airport at Dinard. We have at present four fully fitted gites in two locations, separated by a couple of minutes walk across the garden. In 'Le Clos Jean' we have renovated a traditional stone Normandy longhouse into 3 lovely gites; The Finches, 3 Bedroomed sleeps 8, The Jays 4 bedroomed sleeps 10 and The Robins 3 bedroomed sleeps 9. We now have private pools for each cottage! Across the garden in La Petite Cour, also a traditional longhouse, we have The Chestnut cottage that sleeps up to 8 people – also with a new, private pool. There are extensive gardens, each cottage has its own private area, and they are peaceful and tranquil to walk through. The grounds are safe for children and ideal for dogs. There is FREE WIFI Internet access in all the cottages, for your phone or Laptop.

ROBINS COTTAGE is a traditionally built charming 3 bedroom Manche cottage rental with private swimming pool which can accommodate up to 9 guests and is situated in the heart of the rural Normandy countryside close to all amenities. It is a tastefully furnished cottage comprising of 2 large family bedrooms. The master bedroom with en-suite facilities has a king size bed and a single bed. The second bedroom has a double bed with an additional single bed.There is also a single downstairs bedroom and bathroom suitable for the elderly or infirmed. A cot and a highchair are also available for guests travelling with young children. The cottage has heaters in all rooms and a wood burning stove in the lounge making the cottage ideal for rental all year round.

The well equipped kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle and washing machine. The living areas of the cottage are an open plan lounge with beautiful views of both the front and rear gardens. The French style stone fireplace boasts a log burning stove, there is also a bed settee available in the lounge for extra guests. Entertainment in the cottage comes in the form of a VCR and a TV receiving Sky Freeview channels, free internet and WI-FI access.

The local village of Le Teilleul has a bakers, butchers and a supermarket. Just ten minutes from the cottage at Torchamp is a wonderful body of water where you can kayak or canoe. This area is also fantastic for cycling, walking and is a beautiful setting for picnics.

Visit Bagnoles de l'orne - a famous Parisian spa town with a stunning lake, casinos and a wonderful choice of excellent restaurants and bars, most have terraces for enjoying the beautiful weather and views.
