Mortagne sur Gironde is easily accessible from the airports of La Rochelle and Bordeaux, or is an easy drive down from the port of St Malo. The village is well served with a variety of small shops (including post office and chemist) and a well-stocked Co-op. It is only a short stroll into the village for baguettes and croissants for breakfast! The nearest supermarket is ‘Super U’, about a 15 min drive away in Gemozac. Down by the pretty fishing port are a variety of restaurants and cafés.
Nearby activities, include: Tennis, fishing and horse riding are all available locally and it is a 20 min drive to golf courses.
