Manor House with Pool in Cote-d`Or, Near Beaune, Burgundy Reviews

We spent a summer holiday at Mr & Mrs Moore's lovely house. It's location is perfect for exploring the area and a great place to spend the day relaxing by the pool or in the lovely garden. The house is full of lovely character and very comfortable. The owners have put a great deal of thought and care in to making it a lovely place to stay. Mike could not have been more helpful and took just the right amount of interest in us without intruding on our holiday.

Mr Moore and his wife were perfect hosts. Discreet yet helpful when needed. The manor is beautiful and decorated in style and the pool is just perfect for playing or swimming. The very large garden offers many places to relax. No neighbours around makes it a very calm and privileged location to stay at. The manor is located close to all local commodities and sites. Don't hesitate to rent out this manor. Its worth every penny.

The house and grounds were just as described, very tranquil and spacious and the pool was very clean. Our hosts were ideal, there if needed but otherwise left us on our own. The local village, Nuits St Georges (8mins by car), had several good restaurants and Beaune (20mins) was beautiful with a wide variety of restaurants.

A thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing two week stay.

Beautiful House on the Cote d'Or

Our family spent 2 very nice weeks here in the summer. The house is very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and plenty of seating for eating and relaxing both indoors and out. It is situated in a very quiet rural setting but only 10 minutes from Nuits St Georges, which has a good number of very nice and well priced restaurants. It is well sited between Beaune and Dijon which are impressive mediaeval towns with lots of shops and restaurants and of course wine caves for tasting and buying the excellent wine grown all along the Cote. Mike and Hiroko are very helpful and around for advice and suggestions. We would highly recommend the Manoir!

A lovely stay in a charming and spacious house - exactly as pictured on the internet. Our hosts were very helpful and welcoming and the house was very comfortable and well equipped. The area is beautiful, with no shortage of places to eat and drink - ideal for visiting Dijon and Beaune - not forgetting the vineyards! Definitely a place we will return to.
