Chateau Allure Du Lac is situated in a magnificent 105 acre estate in the Loire Valley. One of the most spectacular chateau rentals in France, it offers a 22-acre private lake, island, lakeside terrace, swimming pool, tennis court, palatial lawns, gorgeous gardens and forests full of wildlife. With an elevator servicing all four floors, full access for Guests is easy.

Enjoy great in-house dining, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and our Grand Chateau Wine & Hors d'Oeuvres Tasting, served in the dining rooms, gardens or on the lakeside terrace.

Family reunions, seminars and weddings are welcome, including use of our Chapel or private Island for your ceremony. We can host events for small and large groups, so let’s chat about what you have in mind.

The Chateau has been extensively renovated and sumptuously decorated with beautiful antiques and rich fabrics. Although majestic and dramatic, the Chateau is warm and welcoming. The Drawing Room is inviting with its oak paneling, huge log fireplace, and private terrace for early evening drinks and late night parties. The magnificent Grand Salon, with its parquet flooring, tall windows, and a massive mirrored fireplace mantle offers a luxurious yet relaxed venue for gatherings large and small. The splendid Silver Reception Room floor was specifically designed for hosting elegant parties, and the Chateau’s delicious French specialties have Guests raving about the food and the superb candlelit tables fit for royalty. The courtyard and lakeside terrace both offer special outdoor dining experiences, and there’s our Salle Du Jardin dining room for when you’re in the mood for something informal.

There are 14 en suite, beautifully furnished bedrooms in the Chateau to choose from to accommodate up to 15 Guests at the base rental rate, with a supplemental charge for additional guests up to a normal maximum of 28. Each bedroom is uniquely decorated, filled with antiques, crystal chandeliers and beds you never want to get out of! There is even a two-story master suite, with its own foyer, drawing room, and antique oak staircase leading up to a huge circular en suite bedroom that has an original hand-painted domed ceiling.

There are also two apartments with 5 bedrooms that will accommodate up to 10 more people and are a 3-minute walk through the gardens from the Chateau. While not decorated to the same standard as the Chateau, they offer a very affordable way to have more people sleep on the estate at only €120 per night per apartment. There are also charming bed & breakfasts and hotels for many more Guests nearby.
