A relaxed and welcoming atmosphere awaits you, half way between two charming villages in Lower-Normandy. We are 5 minutes from an old Norman Chateau where guests can visit the nesting storks. Surrounded by beautiful countryside on a small working farm, with plenty of room for the children to run around, you can be sure of a warm welcome and a relaxed stay.
The farm is 30 minutes away from D Day beaches and the Bayeux tapestry; an hour from Mont St Michel; and 15 minutes to the bars, restaurants and nightlife of Saint-Lo. Easy to find but remote enough for the beauty and charm of the French countryside. We offer accommodation, D-Day beaches guiding from a professional guide, farm activities and tours from a stunning protected park in Manche, Normandy (Parc naturel régional des Marais du Cotentin et du Bessin).
Farmhouse Cottage
Original 4 bedroom farmhouse has been decorated to modern standards, providing comfortable, and spacious accommodation all year round. An outdoor heated pool is available (subject to weather).
At the heart of the farmhouse is a warm and friendly kitchen with a view of the orchard, original floors and hearty food. Electric oven, gas hob and wood burning Rayburn.
The Farmhouse Cottage has 2 double rooms and 2 twins rooms, all with en suite facilities, to sleep 8 comfortably and 10 if required.
An additional single bed / cot can be included in each of the double rooms, and with a convertible sofa in the lounge, the cottage can sleep a maximum of 12 people.
Linen and towels are provided.
We are open all year round and welcome families / groups.
We charge 600 Euros per week (if you book direct) based on up to 8 people staying in the house.
