Luxury 18th Century Villa Rental with Heated Pool in Ferriere-Larcon, Loire Valley - La Cure is set in 2 acres of gardens in a picturesque village with popular Bar/Restaurant.
Normally you have to choose either a village location or a large property in France. But with La Cure you can have both and can sit under the fruit and oak trees in the large gardens, swim in the heated pool, have a game on the property's boules court and then walk 100m to the popular local restaurant for lunch. This charming holiday home is located only 15 minutes to the beautiful medieval town of Loches which has a food and wine market twice a week. It is 40 minutes to chateaux like Chenonceau and Villandry or to vineyards of Chinon and Borgueil.
The property of La Cure consists of Les Roses (a grand 4.5 bedroom manor house) and La Lavande (a 2 bedroom cottage) which have been stylishly furnished and provide a fabulous blend of old and new. The houses share a common wall and have massive oak beams, antique tiled floors, delightful bedrooms and glorious church views. The property's two acres have fruit trees, gardens of roses and a large pool with a massive teak deck which is heated between June and September. Both the house and the cottage have antique dining tables inside and large wooden tables outside for alfresco dining under the oak trees.
Special "takeaways" of french meals can be arranged from local restaurants should you wish to eat at home without having to cook. There is a full description of each of Les Roses and La Lavande below.
