Nestling in rural France, between the market towns of Redon and La Roche Bernard, the well-equipped gîte of les Chênes is on the edge of the historic village of Sainte Anne and is part of a traditional Breton farmhouse, with 2 foot thick granite stone walls under a slate roof.

The cottage of les Chênes offers a lovely base to explore from, but with its pretty south facing garden you may just want to stay 'home'.

Les Chênes is in an area of mixed woodland, cider apple orchards and agricultural farmland and is 5 minutes from the Vilaine River, so perfect for birdwatching, walking, cycling, sailing and generally exploring the area surrounding.

A scenic 20 minute drive takes you to the Brittany south coast, making les Chenes perfectly placed for visiting the many beaches & harbours, as well as the countless inland attractions of Southern Brittany.
