A charming one bedroom, one bathroom stone cottage that enjoys fantastic views over the Lot countryside. The property is set in a hectare of beautiful surroundings in Mas del Pech, a tiny hamlet set on the boundary limits of Pinsac and St.Sozy communes. The market towns of Souillac and Martel are equidistant from the property at around 10 kilometres. Other towns within easy reach are Brive-la-Gaillarde, Figeac, Sarlat-la-Caneda, Cahors and Gourdon. It is located at the end of a rural lane with fruit trees, wild flowers and an abundance of birdlife. The cottage is a former farmhouse that enjoys both exclusivity and stunning views over the farmland and woodland beyond. Guests may relax in the sun on the terrace and enjoy the peace and tranquility. During cooler months, you can sit in front of the woodburner and relax with one of our many books.


There are many activities to keep any holidaymaker occupied including great walks, canoeing down the Dordogne River, cycling along the small lanes passing the tobacco fields. There are several swimming pools nearby at St.Sozy, or perhaps visit the pretty beaches of the Dordogne. There are two 18-hole golf courses within 30 minutes drive. Other attractions worth exploring are the many nearby towns and villages, fine ‘Michelin Star’ restaurants, the local markets and vineyards.


This well equipped Lot holiday rental cottage has been lovingly restored to provide very spacious and comfortable accommodation for 2 people, yet has retained many of its original period features and oak beams. Enjoy relaxing upstairs and admire the great views out over the garden and beyond. The French doors lead out onto a sunny south-facing terrace ideal for experiencing the peace and tranquility – it is equipped with patio furniture, barbecue and benefits from the partial shade of a gazebo and cedar tree.
