Mes chers amis ! The past seven months have been a dream come true. I love everything about the region - the rolling hills filled with every color of green, the vineyards, the medieval villages with their castles, churches and fortresses. I've been living in a fairy tale ! I owe you so much ! You have been my family while I have been a resident of Porthos. You have gone out of your way to make me feel at home and to help me with the numerous tasks I needed to live in France. I can never thank you enough ! I hope that you will be able to visit me in Colorado someday. You will always be welcome in my home. And, of course, I will be back here. Of that, I have no doubt !I will miss you both so much and your beautiful home in the Gers.
