Superb Dordogne Holiday Estate Situated in the Countryside, 8 km from Lascaux - Manoir de La Prandie Reviews

I stayed for a week in August with my husband and four year old son. It was pretty close to paradise for us - an exquisite manoir in beautiful condition, in its own grounds, with not another house in sight. We could happily have stayed there a month - the area is full of wonderful places to see and things to do, though often all we wanted to do was to spend the day sitting in the lovely garden painting and reading and talking, and listening to the cry of the buzzard over the woods...

Although we did not meet our hostess, Zdena, she was very accommodating and made the whole thing easy for us.

It was a great wrench to leave - we're already plotting our return!
