Superb Dordogne Holiday Estate Situated in the Countryside, 8 km from Lascaux - Manoir de La Prandie Reviews

My girlfriend and I wanted to leave our hectic lives in the city of Vancouver, Canada. She somehow stumbled upon this manoir while looking on this website and I do not regret her booking it without my consent--sneaky woman. At first glance it was amazing to see how well maintained a 13th century building could be. I figured that I shouldn't have judged a book by its cover immediately, but the interior did not change my idea of the manoir one bit. Everything was absolutely authentic and beautiful inside.

Other than the manoir, we spent some time site seeing. One of the most interesting places we visited was the Gouffre de Padriac; which was really close by. I highly recommend anyone who enjoys nature to trek to this cave.

Overall, this place was fantastic and my girlfriend and I even recommend it to our friends. The only issue I had were the insects, but that's expected from a city boy and while being in the countryside.
