Chez Resinier is a delightful property in a wonderful location.

Or visit consisted of just the 2 of us, but the property is large and would easily accomodate up to 2 families in comfort.

The owner Vivien Harris, based in the uk, is very helpful and the booking process is straightforward.

Arrival and departure proceedures are also uncomplicated, with little that can go wrong.

The property is well equiped, clean tidy and has a wonderful feel about it.

The grounds are large, with a nice pool and seating area, and gets the sun from morning to evening.

The immediate surrounding area is very tranquil, with good walks, especially to the lake approx a mile away.

A short distance away is the local village, Carcans ,with baker butcher and cave etc and a little beyond there, the renouned surfing beaches. Nestling between is Maubuisson with its access to the lake and an ideal spot to bathe with young children.

Further afield are the famous wine regions, Medoc, Bordeaux etc to be explored.

Bordeaux itself, surprisingly, is only about an hour away and this could be a consideration for those who would want to consider fly/drive.

We have been visitors on 2 occassions now, and will hopefully return again to this wonderful property and area.
