The Petit Gite is actually a spacious and comfortable barn conversion and we certainly didn't find it too petit! The description on this site is very accurate, so I won't repeat it here. We stayed with our 2 kids (11 and 12) as well as our border collie dog. The kids loved the garden and the well equipped games room, which kept them entertained. As with most of France the WiFi is not the fastest, but we were able to cope with kids streaming YouTube and general surfing without complaint. The village is pleasant and there's a good 20 minutes round village walk up past the church, skirting the woods and back along the road that was good for dog walking. The village green is partly enclosed, so you can let a well-trained dog off the lead, but there are a number of working farms in the village with cows and plenty of dogs. Not knowing much about this part of France, we were pleasantly surprised with the area with the Boulogne, Le Touquet, and Agincourt within a 60 minute drive and the Somme around 90 minutes. The nearest town with a supermarket and bakery is about a 10 minute drive away, and the local large town, Montreuil-Sur-Mer, is well worth a day's visit and only 15 minutes away. A thoroughly good time was had by all!
