I had to write this review to say what a wonderful..

I had to write this review to say what a wonderful stay my husband and I had for our 20th Wedding Anniversary in this beautiful little apartment tucked away in old Nice. Everything was perfect and we will definitely be back! It was so kind of the owner, Angela to leave us a bottle of champagne chilling in the fridge, very much appreciated. Madame Saci, who met us and showed us around the apartment was so helpful too, she even let us leave our luggage as we arrived too early to check in, so we could get out and start chilling by the seafront as soon as we arrived in Nice.

In fact from the moment of our first enquiry, Angela was so helpful with everything. I am so envious of her owning this great little gem of a place and she has decorated it so beautifully, I love the colours and the little details. If, like me you don't like all shiny, modern, square places, but prefer a bit of character and style then this is the place for you. The low ceilinged red bedroom with its wonderful beams and quirky little alcoves was far better than any posh hotel room.

It's right in the middle of the old town, near to great restaurants, bakeries for fresh pastries and coffee in the morning, bars and shops. The Cours Salaya flower market and the sea are so close and on the hill up the top of the little old street is a great park, where we sat and read in the sun, my 2 little boys will love it, there is even a playground on the hilltop.

There is some noise from the bars nearby, but we never go to bed early when we are on holidays so that was okay by us. If it had been a problem there are ear plugs kindly provided by the bed - in fact, everything you could need has been thought of, including DVDs and some cool French CDs to listen too!

Thank you Angela for sharing it!
