Stylish Holiday Apartment rental in St Jean de Luz, Biarritz Reviews

We had a lovely time and found it to be a very relaxing experience. The accommodation was just the right size for a couple and it was immaculately presented. We enjoyed living in a non 'touristy' area of the town, but also appreciated how close we were to all the action. Elaine was very friendly and approachable, and provided us with various unexpected extras which were much appreciated; the home made fig confit travelled back with us to adorn our own cheese boards.
We enjoyed a lot of excellent restaurants, Pil Pil Enea in St Jean de Luz (but a bit out of the centre), and the local unpronouncable fish restaurant on the river upstream from the bridge, in particular. But we did not have a poor meal anywhere.
We had a great holiday and would recommend this property as an excellent introduction to the Basque coast and the foothills of the Pyrenees.
We came by car and found it useful for visiting a lot of the places of interest in the area, but you could easily use this property as a non-car based location for a holiday. The train and bus networks are very good and we used the train for a day trip to San Sebastian.
