Jean Noel and Agatha are terrific hosts, helpful and knowledgeable about the local village of Conques Sur Orbiel, local wines and produce, and the broader surrounding Carcassonne area.
You need a car as Domaine is several kms from Carcassonne, but it is central to the many small, unspolit historic hamlets in the area. It is a short walk to the small general store in Conques, and the surrounding countryside is magnificent for longer walks or drives... highly recommended.
