June 2019 Gite 6 · two bedroom cottage with garden and pool We are very satisfied with this accommodation ideally located near Marennes, 15 minutes from Ile d'Oléron, 20 minutes from Rochefort and 30 minutes from La Rochelle, it is perfect for visiting this beautiful region at a very affordable price. The people of Charente are very welcoming, which is very nice when you don't know the area. The swimming pool at our disposal is also very pleasant when it is hot like the day of our arrival. The accommodation is spacious and clean. The private terrace is very practical for enjoying the outdoors and the barbecue. Despite the proximity of the Saintes road, the place is very relaxing, especially in the evening and at night because traffic is then almost non-existent.
