Restored Haute Vienne Holiday Farmhouse with Pool in Chateauponsac Reviews

We stayed at the gite for a week in July. It is a fantastic house and has everything you could need. On the ground floor is the kitchen and living room. As you go up stairs there is a large mezzanine with a double sofa bed if needed, bathroom and large bedroom with two (nearly) double beds. You can then go up to the second floor where there is a further 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. This is a perfect place to stay for families and groups of friends. there is a large garden to the front and a enclosed patio area to the back with BBQ and table football. There is also a pool which was great for kids whilst we could sit and relax in the sun. The Gite is located in a beautiful little village with great views. you are about 1.5 miles from the local town that has everything you could need. We hired a car from the airport for the week and went to quite a few places. We visited one of the local lakes that has a man made beach with kids play area and loads of water activities. We will definitely be back for another visit, and the kids are still raving about how much they enjoyed it.
