Horseback riding, beach, history, food
Wil and Amanda are very nice hosts. After a ride with Wil, our children 15/9 were able to ride the route almost every day unaccompanied. If you are looking for a clean beach without a chip shop, you are in luck right at Cap Carteret. Picnic at the lighthouse at sunset. View of Jersey and Sark, atmospheric. If you want to cook yourself, you should only get the basic equipment in the intermarche, everything else in the small but fine shops and at the almost daily weekly markets in the area. It was also great that the communication wasn't a problem, because with English and German you could iron out the long-forgotten French. The own garden around Stable Cottage offers pleasant shade from the old trees when it gets really hot. Otherwise a lot to see ...
