Lagrasse and the surrounding countryside are impossibly beautiful, and you can't enjoy them better than at House La France. No other property has better views of the hills, river, and medieval bridge - and none appears in more photographs! Entering the apartment from a narrow, cobbled lane, you immediately step into a cobbled courtyard with stone walls and high galleries. You feel you've been transported back 800 years. Ascend a spiral staircase to the apartment. A living space, at once elegant and rustic, greet you. On either side of the living room are main bedrooms, each with tall French doors and its own toilet / bath. A set of stairs leads to a precious third bedroom, also with its own bath. The jewel, however, is the open terrace that looks out over the river and hills. You could spend your entire vacation lounging on it and never leave the apartment. Did I mention the large picture windows that open in two ways, depending on how much air you want in? Or the sound of the water trickling over the river rocks at night? Or the local rooster whose first cockcrow at 4h30 is initially annoying but then becomes quaint? I could go on and on. Let me finish by saying that Nicole is a gracious and professional host, quick to respond to any questions you may have, and obviously one who takes great pride in her property, and for good reason. depending on how much air you want in?
