Had a lovely holiday. Alec & Annie made us very welcome. Managed to get out and about despite the temp. reaching near 40ᵅC! (most days). Here are a few favourites – Montignac, Sarlat (evening), Domme, La Roche Gageac, Bergerac, St Leon sur vezere, Chateau de Losse. Big Bird highwire for the adventurous youngsters (Sophie aged 11 and Evelyn, 9). Reserve zoologique de Calviac for the smallest guest (George, aged 3) was a big hit! Canoeing on the river Vezere was more sheltered in the heat of the day. Rouffignac Sunday market – very good – also enjoyed the gourmet evening on Wednesdays. Every day a pool day.
